Kan. Admin. Regs. § 47-16-8 - Satisfaction of liens
(a) A lien shall be
satisfied to the extent of the value of the consideration received, at the time
of transfer of ownership. Any unsatisfied portion shall remain as a lien on the
property and shall be satisfied in accordance with this subsection.
(b) Liens shall be maintained or renewed by
the secretary from time to time as may be required.
(c) Monies derived from the satisfaction of
liens established under this subsection shall be deposited in the state
abandoned mined-land fund.
