Kan. Admin. Regs. § 49-27-4 - Fact-finder requirements
(a) The person
or persons appointed by the secretary to serve as a fact-finding board shall
notify the secretary of the date, time and location of the first meeting with
the parties at impasse.
(b) The
person or persons appointed by the secretary to serve as a fact-finding board
shall be compensated at a rate determined by the secretary.
(c) The effective date of the appointment of
a person to serve on a fact-finding board shall be the date on which the
fact-finding board first meets with the parties.
(d) The secretary shall submit a statement to
the parties for all costs incurred by the fact-finding board.
