Kan. Admin. Regs. § 60-17-108 - Student policies
(a) Each advanced nursing program shall have clearly defined
written student policies for all of the following:
(1) Admission, including a requirement that each student in the
advanced nursing program must have a current license to practice as a
registered professional nurse in the United States or any of its
territories;
(2) transfer students;
(3) readmission;
(4) counseling and guidance;
(5) progression criteria;
(6) student representation in faculty governance;
(7) graduation;
(8) oral and written English proficiency as specified in K.A.R.
60-3-106 ;
(9) the difference between the student role and the employee
role;
(10) refund policies governing all fees and tuition paid by the
student; and
(11) ethical practices for the performance of activities,
including recruitment, admission, and advertising.
(b) Each advanced nursing program shall have a written policy
providing information to all students regarding licensure denial pursuant to
K.S.A. 65-1120, and amendments thereto. The information shall be provided to
each student before admission to the advanced nursing
program.
