Kan. Admin. Regs. § 69-15-22 - Linens
(a) Each
practitioner shall use clean linens for each client.
(b) A common towel shall be prohibited.
(c) Air blowers may be substituted
for hand towels.
(d) Each
practitioner shall store clean linens, tissues, or single-use paper products in
a clean , enclosed storage area until needed for immediate use.
(e) Each practitioner shall dispose of or
store used linens in a closed or covered container until laundered.
(f) Each practitioner shall launder used
linens either by a regular, commercial laundering or by a noncommercial
laundering process that includes immersion in water at 160 degrees Fahrenheit
for not less than 15 minutes during the washing and rinsing operations.
