Kan. Admin. Regs. § 7-46-1 - Postelection submission of photographic identification by provisional voter
(a) Any voter who
has cast a provisional ballot due to a failure or refusal to provide a valid
photographic identification document at the time of voting may submit a valid
photographic identification document by mail, in person, or by electronic means
to the county election office in the county where the voter is registered to
vote. "Electronic means" shall include facsimile, electronic mail, and any
other electronic means approved by the secretary of state.
(b) If the voter submits a valid photographic
identification document to the county election office before the county board
of canvassers convenes, the county election officer shall present the document
to the board of canvassers to determine the validity of the provisional ballot.
If the board of canvassers determines the photographic identification document
to be valid and the provisional ballot is not determined to be invalid for any
other reason, the ballot shall be counted.
