Kan. Admin. Regs. § 80-3-3 - Same; break in service; defined
For prior service credit purposes, any period in which the employee was off the payroll of his entry date employer, except when on military leave or leave of absence, shall constitute a break in service. This rule shall not apply to members coming within the purview of rule 80-3-1. For prior service credit purposes, military leave credit shall not be given under rule 80-3-3 if the employee does not return to employment with the employer from whose employment he went on military leave and who was his employer on the employer's entry date.
