Kan. Admin. Regs. § 88-22-7 - College certification

Upon the enrollment of an applicant for a teacher scholarship, each eligible post-secondary institution shall certify to the board that each recipient attending its institution:

(a) Is a resident of the state of Kansas according to K.S.A. 76-729(a) and applicable administrative regulations of the board of regents relating to residency determinations;
(b) is enrolled full-time in a course of instruction leading to certification in a hard-to-fill teaching discipline;
(c) has demonstrated scholastic ability or has previously demonstrated scholastic ability and remains qualified by maintaining good standing and making satisfactory progress, as defined by the institution, toward completion of requirements of the course of instruction in which enrolled; and
(d) the scholarship, in combination with other student financial assistance, does not exceed the institution's applicable student budget.
