Kan. Admin. Regs. § 88-8-5 - Program availability

Each eligible institution shall be responsible for taking steps to see that participation in the program is reasonably available for each eligible student who desires to participate. These steps shall include:

(a) the encouragement of participation and involvement by employers to provide for a wide variety of employment opportunities to eligible students;

(b) the publication of information about the program where readily accessible to eligible students;

(c) frequent contact and follow-through with employers about operation of the program; and

(d) accurate monitoring of the work records of eligible students to maintain the number of hours worked.
