Kan. Admin. Regs. § 97-5-1 - Application for benefits

Persons interested in applying for benefits provided by this chapter shall initiate a formal application to the executive director, Kansas veterans' commission, 701 Jackson Street, Topeka, Kansas 66603. The application must be complete and documented to establish legal relationship between applicant and parent, formal military evidence to establish prisoner of war, missing in action, or line of duty death during Viet Nam conflict while serving in the U.S. armed forces in the geographical area of the Viet Nam conflict of applicants parents', the name and address of the school, the anticipated date of enrollment, and evidence that the school has agreed to accept the applicant as a student.
