02-031 C.M.R. ch. 770, § 3 - Definitions
For purposes of this Rule, the following terms have the following meanings:
A. "Injury" means
any injury or other medical condition for which benefits may be awarded
pursuant to 39-A M.R.S.A.;

"Insurer" means any insurer issuing a workers' compensation insurance policy on
a voluntary basis and Maine Employers' Mutual Insurance Company.
C. "Professional hockey player" and "player"
mean a person who, as an employee of an employer who holds a workers'
compensation insurance policy delivered or issued for delivery in Maine and for
wages, earnings, or salary within the meaning of Title 39-A M.R.S.A.,
participates in the game of ice hockey.
D. "Professional hockey team" and "team" mean
the employer who holds a workers' compensation insurance policy delivered or
issued for delivery in Maine and who employs professional hockey players
engaged in the game of ice hockey.
