02-041 C.M.R. ch. 513, § 2 - Registration Numbers
Registration numbers must be visible and must be legibly and permanently affixed in the following locations:
A.
Elevators. On the crosshead
of the elevator car, controller and disconnect.
B.
Escalators. On the underside
of the machine area access cover and controller or other location in the
machine area.
C.
Manlifts. On the machine area structure.
D.
Platform Lifts. On the
disconnect and tower.
E.
Vertical Reciprocating Conveyors.
Marked near the manufacturer's
nameplate.
