06-096 C.M.R. ch. 855, § 1 - Legal Authority

This Chapter is authorized by and adopted under 38 M.R.S. §§1301 through 1319-Y which directs the Board of Environmental Protection to implement an interim licensing program for those waste facilities for hazardous waste which were in existence on April 1, 1980, or are in existence on the effective date of statutory or regulatory changes that first render the facilities subject to hazardous waste licensing requirements, including the requirements of this Chapter, Standards for Hazardous Waste Facilities, 06-096 C.M.R. ch. 854, or Licensing of Hazardous Waste Facilities, 06-096 C.M.R. ch. 856.
