12-186 C.M.R. ch. 2, § 10 - Notice of Pending Petitions
The executive director shall cause to be published notice of the filing of a petition at least twice in newspapers of general circulation in the areas of the state affected by the petition. The executive director shall also provide such notice to any person who has requested to be notified of filings. Absent a determination by the Panel that extraordinary circumstances exist requiring shorter notice, the notice will be given at least 30 days before any hearing to be held and at least 30 days before the close of the comment period on the filing.
