02-031 C.M.R. ch. 350, § 4 - Communications
A. Filings. In filing papers with the
Superintendent as required or permitted by applicable statute, these rules, or
an order of the Superintendent they shall be deemed to be officially filed or
received only when received at the Bureau during the hours that it is open. All
written communications or documents related to an application or other
proceeding pending before the Superintendent shall be addressed to the
Superintendent, except where submitted in response to a request from a member
of the Bureau staff or as otherwise requested by the Superintendent. The
acceptance of any document for filing does not constitute a determination that
the contents of the document are sufficient for the purpose for which it is
filed.
B. Service. Unless otherwise
ordered whenever a document is filed with the Superintendent which relates to
an application or other proceeding pending before the Superintendent, it shall
at the same time be served on all parties and proposed intervenors in the
matter, except that a petition to intervene need be served only on the
parties.
