Mich. Admin. Code R. 125.1929 - Vehicular and sidewalk systems; illumination levels
Rule 929. Except in a seasonal community, all vehicular and sidewalk systems within a community shall be illuminated as follows:
(a) Access points shall be lighted. If the
adjacent public thoroughfare is lighted, then the illuminated level shall not
be more than the average illumination level of the thoroughfare.
(b) At all internal road intersections and
designated pedestrian crosswalks, the minimum illumination shall be not less
than .15 footcandles.
(c) Internal
roads, parking bays, and sidewalks shall be illuminated at not less than .05
footcandles.
