Mich. Admin. Code R. 205.3307 - Motion for extension of time
Rule 307.
(1)
Except as otherwise provided by law and except for oral motions made during a
hearing, requests for extensions of time in which to perform any act required
or allowed to be done at or within a specific time by these rules shall be made
by a written motion. The motion shall be filed before the expiration of the
period originally prescribed or previously extended. If the presiding officer
determines that there is good cause for the extension of time, the motion may
be granted. The presiding officer shall state, with particularity, the reasons
for granting the extension.
(2)
This rule shall not apply to motions for adjournment of a prehearing conference
or a hearing.
