Mich. Admin. Code R. 30.32 - Training manual
Rule 2.
(1) The
division shall develop an emergency management training manual which is
consistent with these rules and which sets forth standards and requirements for
the training and professional development of emergency management
coordinators.
(2) The emergency
management training manual shall include all of the following:
(a) A description of the training standards
and requirements or accepted equivalent training that is based on the
knowledge, skills, and abilities which are necessary to perform the functions
of an emergency management coordinator.
(b) The minimum number of hours of
instruction.
(c) Provisions for an
exam based on the knowledge and concepts taught in the required
curriculum.
(d) Application
procedures for taking the exam.
(e)
Annual training requirements.
(3) The division shall periodically review
the emergency management training manual to ensure that the training standards
and requirements stated in the manual are in compliance with existing
legislation, current knowledge and technology, or both. The manual shall be
revised by the division when it determines a need to modify, update, increase,
or delete any part of the training standards or requirements.
