Mich. Admin. Code R. 325.10610a - Maximum residual disinfectant levels
Rule 610a.
(1) Maximum residual disinfectant levels (MRDLS) are as follows:
| Disinfectant residual | MRDL (mg/l) |
| Chlorine | 4.0 as chlorine |
| Chloramines | 4.0 as chlorine |
| Chlorine dioxide | 0.8 as chlorine dioxide |
(2) The best available technologies, treatment techniques, or other means available for achieving compliance with the maximum residual disinfectant levels under subrule (1) of this rule are control of treatment processes to reduce disinfectant demand and control of disinfection treatment processes to reduce disinfectant levels.
