Mich. Admin. Code R. 325.11303 - Engineering report or basis of design; approval
Rule 1303.
(1) If requested by the department, a public water supply shall submit an engineering report for a significant project or a basis of design, or both, for approval by the department, before plans and specifications are submitted for the construction or alteration of a portion of a waterworks system.
(2) The department may reject or return any plans and specifications submitted by a public water supply for the construction or alteration of a waterworks system, or a portion of a waterworks system, unless an engineering report or basis of design, or both, as requested by the department, have been approved.
