Mich. Admin. Code R. 325.182 - Newborn eye prophylaxis
Rule 182. The following prophylaxes against ophthalmia neonatorum are approved:
(a)
Erythromycin (0.5%) ophthalmic ointment in single-use tubes or
ampules.
(b) A substance for which
written approval has been given by the director of the Michigan department of
community health.
