Mich. Admin. Code R. 325.18301 - Scope
Rule 1.
(1) This
standard establishes the minimum requirements for preventing or minimizing the
consequences of catastrophic releases of toxic, reactive, flammable, or
explosive chemicals. These releases may result in toxic, fire, or explosion
hazards.
(2) The regulations
adopted by
R
325.18302 shall apply to all workplaces pursuant to
the provisions of these rules.
(3)
The manufacture of explosives, as defined in General Industry Safety Standard
Part 55 "Explosives and Blasting Agents," as referenced in
R
325.18303, shall be in compliance with the
requirements contained in the provisions of these rules.
(4) The manufacture of pyrotechnics as
defined in General Industry Safety Standard Part 55 "Explosives and Blasting
Agents," as referenced in
R
325.18303, shall be in compliance with the provisions
of these rules.
