Mich. Admin. Code R. 325.22322 - License renewal or relicensure for emergency medical technicians; continuing education
Rule 22322.
(1)
An applicant for license renewal as an emergency medical technician who has
been licensed for the 3-year period immediately preceding the expiration date
of the license or an applicant for relicensure as an emergency medical
technician must accumulate at least 30 continuing education credit hours that
are approved by the department under these rules during the 3 years preceding
an application for renewal or relicensure.
(2) An applicant for license renewal or
relicensure pursuant to section 20954 of the code, MCL
333.20954, in addition to the
requirements of subrule (1) of this rule, must have an appropriate and current
CPR credential as determined by the department. Continuing education credit for
a CPR credential may be part of the medical continuing education category
requirement.
(3) The categories of
approved continuing education activities for emergency medical technicians are
prescribed by the department, in collaboration with the EMSCC, on a triennial
basis.
