Mich. Admin. Code R. 325.5221 - Surveys
Rule 221.
(1) As used in this rule, "survey" means a critical evaluation of a facility or area incident to the production, use, release, disposal, or presence of sources of radiation under a specific set of conditions to determine actual or potential radiation hazards. When appropriate, the evaluation includes tests, physical examination, source inventory and accountability, and measurements of levels of radiation or concentration of radioactive material present.
(2) Each licensee or registrant shall make or cause to be made surveys as may be necessary to establish compliance with these rules.
