Mich. Admin. Code R. 325.99207 - Lead abatement supervisor training course requirements
Rule 207. A training program accredited under section 5462 of the act shall provide a training course that meets the following requirements to become accredited for the discipline of supervisor:
(a) The training course shall last a minimum
of 8 training hours, with a minimum of 3 hours devoted to hands-on
activities.
(b) The training course
shall include, at a minimum, all of the following course topics:
(i) The role and responsibilities of a
supervisor.
(ii) Liability and
insurance issues relating to lead -based paint hazard control.
(iii) Cleanup and waste disposal.
(iv) Recordkeeping.
(v) The following topics which have hands-on
activities as an integral part of the course:
(A) Risk assessment and inspection report
interpretation.
(B) The development
and implementation of an occupant protection plan and hazard control
report.
(C) Lead-based paint hazard
recognition and control.
(D)
Clearance standards and testing, including retesting procedures.
