Mich. Admin. Code R. 330.1220 - Transferal of hospital license
Rule 1220.
(1) A
hospital license is not transferable. A change in location, ownership, or
program shall require a new application for license.
(2) The department shall be notified in
advance of a change. The existing license shall be void as of the date of the
change and returned to the department.
(3) A change of ownership shall be reported
to the department when there is a sale or transfer of 10% or more of the stock
of a corporation owning a licensed hospital. The existing license shall be void
as of the date of this change and returned to the
department.
