Mich. Admin. Code R. 338.11303 - Approval of dental hygiene educational programs; accreditation standards; adoption by reference
Rule 1303.
(1)
The board adopts by reference the standards of CODA of the ADA, as set forth in
the publication titled "Accreditation Standards for Dental Hygiene Education
Programs," effective January 1, 2013, copyright 2019. A dental hygiene
educational program accredited by CODA is considered board approved. CODA is
the only accreditation accepted by the board.
(2) These standards may be obtained at no
cost from CODA of the ADA, 211 East Chicago Avenue, Chicago, Illinois,
60611-2678 or at no cost from the association's website athttp://www.ada.org. Copies of these standards
are available for inspection and distribution at 10 cents per page from the
Michigan Board of Dentistry, Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs,
Bureau of Professional Licensing, 611 West Ottawa, P.O. Box 30670, Lansing,
Michigan, 48909.
