Mich. Admin. Code R. 338.7131 - Program accreditation standards; physical therapist; adoption of standards by reference
Rule 31.
(1) The
standards and evaluative criteria for accreditation of physical therapist
educational programs set forth by CAPTE, 3030 Potomac Avenue, Suite 100,
Alexandria, Virginia 22305-3085, in the publication titled "PT Standards and
Required Elements" revised November 3, 2020, which are available at no cost on
the commission's website at https://www.capteonline.org, are
approved and adopted by reference. An educational program for physical
therapists accredited by CAPTE satisfies the qualifications for an approved
physical therapist educational program.
(2) Copies of the standards and evaluative
criteria adopted by reference in subrule (1) of this rule are also available
for inspection and distribution at a cost of 10 cents per page from the Board
of Physical Therapy, Bureau of Professional Licensing, Department of Licensing
and Regulatory Affairs, 611 West Ottawa, P.O. Box 30670, Lansing, Michigan
48909.
