Mich. Admin. Code R. 339.22219 - Lapse of broker's license

Rule 219.

(1) If a broker's license is lapsed, the licenses of all real estate salespersons and all affiliated associate real estate brokers employed by that real estate broker are automatically suspended until that real estate broker is relicensed pursuant to section 2502a(3) of the code, MCL 339.2502a, or until there is a change of employer and the issuance of a new license.
(2) If a real estate salesperson or affiliated associate real estate broker whose license was suspended pursuant to subrule (1) of this rule becomes employed by a different licensed broker, the department shall issue a new license to the salesperson or associate real estate broker without charge if the license is issued during the same term in which the original license was issued.
