Mich. Admin. Code R. 339.5119 - Code update courses; instructors; standards
Rule 119.
(1)
Unless otherwise provided in the act, the department shall approve
instructor-provided code update courses that comply with the act and these
rules.
(2) Instructors shall be
approved by the department.
(3) A
certificate of completion must be issued, either electronically or by paper, by
a course provider to an individual who has successfully completed the code
update class by required attendance. The certificate must contain all of the
following information:
(a) A course approval
number granted by the department.
(b) The name and address of the individual,
school, organization, or company who sponsors or administers the
course.
(c) The date the
certificate was issued.
(d) The
students name and license number.
(4) The department may withdraw the approval
of a course if the approval was issued in error, if the approval was issued
based on incorrect information, or if the course is found to be in violation of
these rules. Notice of withdrawal of approval must be in writing and must state
the reason for the withdrawal of approval. An appeal of the withdrawal must be
processed pursuant to the administrative procedures act of 1969, 1969 PA 306,
MCL 24.201 to
24.328.
