Mich. Admin. Code R. 38.146 - Service; mail; proof of service
Rule 16.
(1) A
party shall serve pleadings and other documents on an attorney or on a party
not represented by an attorney by personal delivery, by mail as defined in
subrule (2) of this rule, or by electronic submission as defined in
R 38.131.
(2) Filing by mail or service by mail means
enclosing in a sealed envelope with first-class mail postage fully prepaid,
addressed to the commission or to the person served, and depositing the
envelope in the United States government mail.
(3) A party shall provide proof of service by
filing with the commission written acknowledgment of service, an affidavit of
the person making service, or other proof satisfactory to the
commission.
