Mich. Admin. Code R. 400.12316 - Personal possessions
Rule 316. An agency's personal possessions policy must address all the following:
(a) Ensure
that a child has a right to have his or her personal possessions during
placement with a foster family and when leaving the foster family.
(b) Safe storage of a child's personal
possessions.
(c) All gifts and
clothing that are given to or purchased for the child during placement with the
foster family remain the property of the foster child.
