Mich. Admin. Code R. 400.12421 - Visitation and family time; in person contact
Rule 421.
(1) An
agency shall develop a plan of visitation and family time for each child in
foster care consistent with the child's service plans, as required by
R 400.12419 and
R 400.12420 to ensure the safety
and well-being of the child.
(2) An
agency social service worker shall visit the foster child, and the foster
parent, if applicable, in the child's placement at least once every
month.
(3) An agency shall
facilitate in-person contact between parents and children except where parental
rights have been terminated or when there is a court determination that visits
are detrimental to the child.
(4)
An agency shall facilitate in-person contact between siblings who are not
placed together except when there is a court determination that contact is
detrimental to either child.
