Mich. Admin. Code R. 400.1942 - Electrical service; maintenance
Rule 42.
(1) The
electrical service of a child care home must be maintained in a safe condition.
When warranted, an electrical inspection by an electrical inspecting authority
may be required.
(2) All electrical
outlets, including outlets on multiple outlet devices, accessible to children
must have safety covers or be tamper resistant outlets.
(3) Electrical cords must be arranged so they
are not hazardous to children.
