Mich. Admin. Code R. 400.3111 - Client responsibility to cooperate with department; effect of failure to cooperate
Rule 11.
(1) A
client shall cooperate with department staff in determining initial and ongoing
eligibility and benefit levels. Cooperation includes all of the following:
(a) Answering completely and truthfully all
questions on department forms and during interviews.
(b) Taking all actions within the groups
ability to verify factors concerning the group's eligibility.
(c) Cooperating with department staff during
quality control reviews.
(d)
Accurately reporting, within 10 calendar days after the information is known to
the client, information that might affect eligibility or benefit
amounts.
(2) A client's
failure to cooperate with the department in any matter of eligibility shall
result in the denial of the assistance application, case closure, member
disqualification, or benefit level reduction.
