Mich. Admin. Code R. 408.10568e - Cable stabilization
Rule 568e.
(1)
Hanging lifelines and all cables that are not in tension shall be stabilized at
200-foot (61 m) intervals of vertical travel of the working platform beyond an
initial 200-foot (61 m) distance.
(2) Hanging cables, other than suspended wire
ropes, that are in constant tension shall be stabilized when the vertical
travel is more than an initial 600-foot (183 m) distance. Beyond the initial
600 feet, cables shall be stabilized at intervals of 600 feet (183 m) or
less.
