Rule 2617.
(1)
When a presence-sensing device is used as a safety device, the control shall
incorporate a fail-safe feature.
(2) Machine start controls shall be designed
and installed or guarded to prevent unintentional activation by contact with
objects or a part of the body.
(3)
A machine shall be provided with a stop device within reach of the operator's
designated position.
