Mich. Admin. Code R. 408.15113 - Supervision, maintenance, and inspection by employers
Rule 5113. An employer shall do all of the following:
(a) Provide supervision
necessary to enforce compliance with these rules.
(b) Maintain buildings, equipment, and
workplaces in a safe and orderly condition.
(c) Conduct inspections as necessary to
ensure compliance with these rules.
(d) Not permit an employee to work alone on
felling or skidding operations.
(e)
Not permit an employee to work in an area with equipment which is in a
dangerous condition.
(f) Account
for the presence of each employee at the end of each workday.
(g) Ensure that all safeguards are installed
and functional before allowing equipment to be used.
(h) Only permit a designated and trained
employee to operate logging equipment.
