Mich. Admin. Code R. 408.17141 - Marking machine and label remover
Rule 7141. A marking machine or label remover with an opening of more than 1/4 inch shall be guarded by 1 of the following:
(a) A spring compression device designed to
prevent injury if the fingers are caught between the marking plunger and the
platen.
(b) A control device
requiring concurrent use of both hands to operate the machine.
(c) A barrier designed to prevent contact
with the marking plunger.
