Mich. Admin. Code R. 408.30727c - Tempered water temperature control
Rule 727c. Section 607.1.2 is added to the code to read as follows:
607.1.2. Tempered water
temperature control. Tempered water shall be controlled by 1 of the following:
1. A limiting device conforming to ASSE
1070/ASME A112.1070/CSA B125.70 and set to not greater than 110 degrees
Fahrenheit or 43 degrees Celsius.
2. A thermostatic mixing valve conforming to
ASSE 1017.
3. A water heater
conforming to ASSE 1082.
4. A water
heater conforming to ASSE 1084.
5.
Emergency eye wash tepid water limits shall not be less than 60 degrees
Fahrenheit or 15.6 degrees Celsius and not greater than 100 degrees Fahrenheit
or 37.8 degrees Celsius and conform to ASSE
1071.
