Mich. Admin. Code R. 408.41216 - Manually powered hoisting machines
Rule 1216.
(1) A
manually powered hoisting device shall be equipped with a positive locking
device.
(2) A manually powered
machine shall be designed to prevent free-spooling of the cable drum.
