Mich. Admin. Code R. 408.41234 - Multilevel suspension scaffolds
Rule 1234.
(1)
A multilevel suspension scaffold shall have a separate fall prevention device
that allows a drop of not more than 12 inches installed at each support point
connected with a line to the scaffold.
(2) The device shall be attached to a wire
rope safety line equivalent to the support rope, and the safety line shall be
secured to a substantial member of the structure separate from the support rope
and to the ground. If it is not possible to attach a safety line to the
structure, then the safety line shall be attached to the outrigger.
(3) The multilevel suspension scaffold shall
be in compliance with the provisions of
R 408.41233 and

CFR 1926.452(v), as adopted
by reference in
R
408.41201.
(4) A support for a platform shall be
attached directly to the support stirrup and not to any other
platform.
