Mich. Admin. Code R. 408.41236 - Needle beam scaffolds
Rule 1236.
(1)
A needle beam scaffold shall not be altered or moved while in use.
(2) The scaffold planking shall be secured
against displacement. Cleats are not an adequate means of attachment.
(3) Ropes or hangers shall be used for
supports, except that 1 end of a needle beam scaffold may be supported by and
secured to a permanent structural member.
