Mich. Admin. Code R. 408.7014 - Inspection reports and certificates of operation
Rule 14.
(1) A
general inspector shall provide a report to the department of each inspection
stating the condition of the elevator within 2 business days of the
inspection.
(2) A report indicating
an elevator has been sealed out of service must be forwarded to the department
within 48 hours of being sealed.
(3)
The director shall issue a certificate of operation for a capacity not to
exceed the capacity named in the inspection report.
