Mich. Admin. Code R. 432.11306 - Issuance of markers
Rule 1306. A casino licensee shall establish procedures for the computerized or manual issuance of markers, including, at a minimum, all of the following:
(a) A designation of
the licensed occupational positions that are authorized to issue markers and a
description of their duties.
(b) A
description of where markers can be issued.
(c) A description of the marker and the
information and signatures required to authorize the marker. Both of the
following provisions specify requirements for a marker:
(i) A casino licensee shall submit the form
of its markers to the board prior to its use.
(ii) The form must be a 3-part, numbered
form.
(iii) The marker shall
include, but not be limited to, all of the following information:
(A) Patron's name and casino account
number.
(B) Dollar amount of the
marker.
(C) Casino marker
number.
(D) Current time and
date.
(E) The required
signatures.
(F) A description of
the term of repayment, including the rate of interest, if any.
(d) A description of
the distribution of each part of the marker.
(e) Verification of the patron's identity
through identification credentials before the issuance of the marker.
(f) Verification of available
credit.
(g) A description of the
recording of the credit transaction.
(h) A description of accountability and
control over the markers.
(i) A
computer record and computerized log shall be maintained identifying the
information in subdivisions (a) to (h) of this rule for not less than 5
years.
(j) Other information deemed
necessary by the board to ensure compliance with the act and these
rules.
