Mich. Admin. Code R. 432.1311 - Required insurance

Rule 311.

(1) A casino licensee shall obtain and maintain insurance necessary to assure that the licensee or holder of a certificate of suitability is adequately insured to protect itself against the potential liabilities of constructing, owning, and operating a casino and related casino enterprises and conducting a gambling operation. A licensee shall obtain and maintain the following types of insurance or reasonable equivalent while holding a casino license:
(a) Liability insurance.
(b) Casualty insurance.
(c) Fire insurance.
(d) Theft insurance.
(e) Worker's compensation insurance.
(2) If a licensee, at any time, fails to maintain sufficient insurance while holding a certificate of suitability or a casino license, then the board may initiate disciplinary action against the licensee or holder of a certificate of suitability.
