Mich. Admin. Code R. 432.627 - Renewal of a license
Rule 627.
(1) An
internet gaming operator or internet gaming supplier license when issued is
valid for a 5-year period.
(2) An
internet gaming operator or internet gaming supplier licensee may renew its
license every 5 years after receiving its initial license.
(3) An internet gaming operator or internet
gaming supplier licensee intending to renew its license must, at least 30 days
before expiration of its license, submit the annual license renewal fee and
application in the manner and form required by the board.
(4) If the board denies the application for
renewal, it shall direct the executive director to issue the licensee a notice
of nonrenewal.
(5) An internet
gaming operator or internet gaming supplier licensee who is served with a
notice of nonrenewal under this rule may request a contested case hearing as
set forth in these rules.
(6) The
notice of nonrenewal is a finding that the internet gaming operator or internet
gaming supplier licensee is ineligible or unsuitable for licensure or is
otherwise in violation of the licensing requirements of the act or these rules.
When the board denies an application for renewal, the person is prohibited from
conducting business that would otherwise require licensure.
