Mich. Admin. Code R. 432.672 - Voluntary placement in the responsible gaming database
Rule 672.
(1) An
individual may have his or her name placed in the responsible gaming database
for a period of 1 or 5 years by submitting a request in the manner and form
prescribed by the executive director.
(2) An individual seeking voluntary placement
in the responsible gaming database must agree to release the state, the board
and its employees and agents, the internet gaming operator, the internet gaming
platform provider, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees,
and agents from any harm, monetary or otherwise, that may arise as a
consequence of placing his or her name in the responsible gaming
database.
(3) The executive
director shall not include an individual in the responsible gaming database
until the individual has provided all necessary information.
(4) If an internet gaming operator or
internet gaming platform provider prohibits a voluntarily-excluded person in
the responsible gaming database from engaging in other forms of gaming
authorized by law in this state or in another jurisdiction, the limitation
shall only be for the 1 or 5 year placement chosen by the voluntarily-excluded
person.
