Mich. Admin. Code R. 460.2373 - Shutoff of service
Rule 73. Under any of the following conditions, gas service may be shut off by the utility:
(a) A
hazardous condition exists. In this instance, gas service may be shut off
without prior notification.
(b) A
potentially hazardous condition exists. In this instance, gas service may be
shut off after providing the customer with written notice of shutoff by first
class mail at least 10 days before the shutoff is scheduled to occur.
(c) Refusal of required access. In this
instance, gas service may be shut off after providing the customer with written
notice of the shutoff by first class mail at least 10 days before the shutoff
is scheduled to occur.
