Mich. Admin. Code R. 792.10417 - Initial notice of hearing
Rule 417. Except as otherwise provided by statute or the commission, not less than 14 days before the date set for the initial hearing, written notice of the hearing must be provided to all parties and other persons as the commission or its secretary may direct. For good cause, the commission or its secretary may determine a shorter or longer period for notice. The notice must contain all of the following information:
(a) A statement of the date, hour, place, and
nature of the hearing.
(b) The
jurisdiction under which the hearing is to be held, including reference to the
statutes, or sections of statutes, commission orders, or rules
involved.
(c) A short and plain
statement of the matters asserted and issues involved. The commission or its
secretary may prescribe the form and manner of notice to be
given.
