Mich. Admin. Code R. 792.11114 - Restriction with respect to former employee
Rule 1114.
(1) A
former employee of the board or of the director, including a former member of
the board or the director, shall not appear before the board as an attorney or
other representative for a party in a contested case in which that person
participated personally and substantially during the period of that person's
employment.
(2) A former employee of
the board or of the director, including a former member of the board or the
director, shall not appear before the board as an attorney or other
representative for a party in a proceeding or other matter, formal or informal,
for which that person was personally responsible during the period of that
person's employment, unless 1 year has elapsed since the termination of the
employment.
(3) The prohibition
against participation as an attorney or other representative as specified in
subrules (1) and (2) of this rule applies to the attorney general and the
assistants of the attorney general who serve the
department.
